Job Overview:
Discount Asphalt & Paving is seeking a skilled and reliable Asphalt Laborer / Skid Steer Operator to join our crew for the upcoming paving season. We’re looking for a motivated team player with hands-on experience in asphalt work and skid steer operation. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, layout, and installation of asphalt for driveways, parking lots, and roadways

Operate skid steer and other paving equipment safely and efficiently

Load, spread, and compact materials

Assist with raking, shoveling, and other hand labor tasks as needed

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years experience in asphalt labor and machine operation

Proficient skid steer operator with ability to maneuver in tight spaces

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
