Located along scenic Route 1 in Lincolnville, The Red Barn Marketplace is a beautifully restored barn offering a curated collection of vintage finds, antiques, gifts, and local art. As the business continues to grow and welcome more visitors, the need for a professional, durable, and clearly marked parking area became a top priority.

Site Prep & Grading
We began with proper excavation and grading to ensure a solid foundation and correct water runoff — especially important in Maine’s freeze-thaw climate. Special attention was paid to the driveway entry from Route 1 and the side slope near the stairs. -
Paving with Hot Mix Asphalt
Using commercial-grade hot mix asphalt, we laid a thick, even surface designed for both light and moderate vehicle traffic. The surface was compacted for strength and long-term wear resistance. -
Parking Lot Striping
Once the asphalt cured, we added bright, clearly marked lines to organize parking and create a welcoming experience for customers — all while maximizing available space. -
Finishing Touches
The new lot was finished with clean transitions to the existing lawn, stonework, and pathways. We also installed caution tape to protect the fresh asphalt during the curing period.
